Game Description

Comet Tail Inn is a cozy, narrative focused inn management game about a bunny that lives on the moon. The game follows the bunny as they grow from a loner going through the motions to a helpful friend to all who find themselves needing a hot dinner and a place to sleep.

What I did

  • Lead the systems, quest, world/map and narrative design

  • Create and maintain a design document

  • Create and maintain quest and item spreadsheets

  • Design and build isometric maps using tiles and game objects

  • Collaborate with the team's writer, artists and programmers to achieve the intended experience

What I've learned

  • Gained experience leading the vision and decision-making for the game's design

  • Further developed my ability to advise art, programming, writing and marketing teams from a design perspective

  • Gained a sense for a remote indie studio style environment

    • Including: maintaining a weekly schedule planned out by a producer; attending consistent weekly meetings with various team members; consistently delivering while balancing a variety of tasks
